"Odds stacked against me, just the way I like it"
JAX HOLLOW - "Come Up Kid" Release Date: Late November 2024 / Early December
Jax Hollow's third studio album is nearing completion, and will be available for purchase late November / early December. The title of the record is "Come Up Kid". It is a reveling, and honest record that explores the personal journey of Jax Hollow as she "tries to make it" in Music City. Starting from nothing, and defying the odds of an independent artist, Jax has managed to share bills with rock legends; Sammy Hagar, Billy Gibbons, Rick Springfield, Melissa Etheridge, and more. This record explores the intense highs, and the extreme lows that she's wrestled with the past year; from the roaring crowds pounding on the pews at the famous Ryman Auditorium opening for Melissa Etheridge, to sleeping in her car the next week. It's as real as a record can get- and she's leaving no gravel stone unturned.
The first single release "Don't Call Me Baby" dropped on August 23rd, and will be followed by "Fallout" September 27th. The "Don't Call Me Baby" official music video will be released early October and was directed / produced by Jon Duncan and was shot at Warren Studios in Nashville, TN with additional shots at The Motor Inn, Clarksville, TN.
"Come Up Kid" was recorded at Sienna Studios on Music Row, in Nashville TN, as well as The Pentavarit. It is only possible thanks to you - and your generous donations towards studio time. Below is a list of Jax Hollow supporters, who have made this record possible;

"Jax is an amazing artist; her music is different and instantly identifiable."
- Michael Wagener, Producer/Engineer
"The quality of the musicianship is eclipsed only by the depth and virtuosity of the song writing. Jax has learned her craft and paid her dues and, if there’s any justice left in the world, this album could be ‘Tapestry’ for Gen Z."
- Iain McArthur, Rockfiend
“We predict a meteoric rise for this undeniable talent. Young songwriter Jax Hollow gave us such a reaction with her incredibly tight songwriting and virtuoso guitar playing. Her musical ability is distinct and refined but also great to jam to. It comes as no surprise that she is a Berklee grad”
- Matt Simon, Ear To The Ground Music
